The corn straws are made from corn starch, water, and biological enzymes. They do not contain bioplastics and do not have added chemicals. These straws can be used in acidic, neutral, or alkaline beverages, and the taste is not affected. These straws will gradually enlarge and become soft, but even at room temperature, they are useable for at least two hours. After users are done with the straws, no special recycling step is necessary; the straws begin to biodegrade naturally. Eventually, the straws will recycle back into the Earth and degrade naturally into carbon dioxide and water. These corn straws do not pollute the environment.
